Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 November 2026. Applies to the company website memolabs.de. Our apps have their own policies (section 7). This English version is a translation for your convenience; the German version is authoritative.

represented by the Managing Director Sascha Kaderka
Kolonnenstraße 8
10827 Berlin
Germany
Phone: +49 30 4243 4444

You will find further details in the Legal Notice. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

2. Visiting the website and hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on servers in Germany. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

When you open a page, the server necessarily processes your IP address, date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the amount of data transferred. Without this, the page cannot be delivered. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website.

Access logs, to the extent they arise, are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

If you open the start address without a language in the URL, we redirect you to the German or English version based on your browser's language setting. Nothing is stored in the process.

The connection is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS).

3. Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser's storage and reads nothing from it. It uses no analytics or tracking services. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

4. Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your email address, your name (if provided) and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where a contract or its preparation is concerned, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our interest in answering enquiries).

Our emails run on Google Workspace of Google Cloud EMEA Limited, 70 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland, as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; it is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We will send you a copy of the standard contractual clauses on request to support@memolabs.de.

We delete enquiries no later than two years after they are resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Contact by phone

Our phone number runs on the telephony service Twilio. Incoming calls are answered by an AI voice assistant based on ElevenLabs; you are not speaking with a human. The call produces a transcript and a summary so that we can deal with your request. The summary is stored with your phone number in Notion, via the automation service Make. The service may also process the call as an audio recording for this purpose. For this we process your phone number, the time and duration of the call and the content of the conversation.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where a contract or its preparation is concerned, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our interest in dealing with enquiries). If you prefer not to use this, email us at support@memolabs.de.

Twilio, ElevenLabs, Make and Notion may process data in the USA. Such a transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We will send you a copy on request to support@memolabs.de.

We delete transcripts and call connection data no later than two years after your request is resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Beyond this, we only pass on data where we are legally required to do so.

7. Links to our apps

This website links to the pages of our apps. Your browser connects to those pages only when you follow a link. The respective privacy policy applies there:

If we link to an app store, the store operator's terms and privacy notices apply there.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). To exercise them, write to support@memolabs.de.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.

9. Obligation to provide data, automated decisions

You are not obliged to give us any data. Without the connection data named in section 2, however, the website cannot be delivered, and without contact details we cannot reply to you. No automated decision-making including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR) takes place.

10. Changes

We update this policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published on this page applies.
